Meet Our Team
Our team of board-certified pediatricians set our Pediatric Emergency Department apart. Our Pediatric Emergency Department is the only one on the North Shore staffed 24 hours a day, seven days a week with experienced physicians, nurses and clinical specialists.
Dr. Anderson is board certified in pediatrics. She graduated from the University of Massachusetts Medical Center and completed her residency at Maine Medical Center.
Jessica Bryk, CNP, MSN
Jessica Bryk is a pediatric nurse practitioner who specializes in pediatric emergency care, pediatric orthopedic surgery and pediatric neurosurgery. She graduated from The University of South Florida with a Master's in Nursing in 2017. She is board certified by the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board. Jess joined Salem Hospital in 2021.
Dr. Griffin graduated from Eastern Virginia Medical School. She completed residency in Pediatrics at Children’s National Hospital/George Washington University and fellowship in Pediatric Emergency Medicine at McGaw Medical Center of Northwestern University through Ann and Robert H Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago. She is board certified in both Pediatrics and Pediatric Emergency Medicine.
Dr. O’Connor graduated from the Royal College of Surgeons of England and is board certified in pediatrics. She completed her residency at the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center.
Dr. Preotle graduated from Tufts University School of Medicine, and then completed Emergency Medicine Residency through Brigham & Women's Hospital and Massachusetts General Hospital. Following residency, she complimented her training with a Pediatric Emergency Medicine Fellowship at Brown University, though Hasbro Children's Hospital. She is board certified in both Emergency Medicine and Pediatric Emergency Medicine.
Colleen Shea, MSN, CPNP
Colleen Shea is a pediatric nurse practitioner who specializes in pediatric emergency care. She graduated from The George Washington University with a Bachelor’s of Public Health. She then completed both her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Science in Nursing at the MGH Institute of Health Professions. She is board certified by the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board. Colleen joined Salem Hospital in 2011.
Dr. Thornley is board certified in pediatrics and graduated from the King’s College School of Medicine in London. He completed his residency at Massachusetts General Hospital and fellowships at the Hospital for Sick Children at Toronto University and Fairview University Hospital at the University of Minneapolis.
Dr. Tremblay is board certified in pediatrics. She graduated from the University of Texas at Houston and completed a combined residency program in Pediatrics and Emergency Medicine at LSU in New Orleans.
Dr. Bruce Weinstock graduated Boston University School of Medicine and Boston University School of Public Health. He completed his residency in Pediatrics at Rhode Island Hospital/Brown University and Fellowship in Pediatric Emergency Medicine at Boston City Hospital/Boston Medical Center. He has served as staff attending at Boston Medical Center, Boston Childrens Hospital, Mass General Hospital. In addition, he has served as Chief of Pediatrics for Norwood Hospital in Norwood, MA and Morton Hospital in Taunton, MA. His academic appointments have included Assistant Professor at Boston University School of Medicine and Instructor at Harvard Medical School. He joined Salem Hospital in November 2020.
