  • We provide outpatient psychotherapy and psychopharmacology services, a partial hospital program for adolescents, and an inpatient program for children ages 5-18 years old. Inpatient services are provided on a dedicated pediatric floor in our new Epstein Center for Behavioral Health. Outpatient services for children and adolescents include individual therapy. Our Partial Hospital program offers intensive outpatient services for children 12 to 18 years old who do not meet criteria for inpatient hospitalization but who need more structure and support than can be provided at an outpatient level. Our Neuropsychological Assessment Center provides assessments and follow-up services to individuals with learning, developmental, emotional or behavioral difficulties.

  • Programs being developed by the City of Lynn’s Food Security Task Force, Lynn Community Health Center, My Brother’s Table, Greater Lynn Senior Services, Salem State University School of Social Work, and North Shore Community Health will receive support to improve nutrition security, equity, mental health, chronic disease management, and workforce development. To address this continuing crisis, a grant of $1.85 million will support an innovative plan being spearheaded by the Lynn Food Security Task Force -- a coalition of 14 Lynn organizations including the Lynn Community Health Center, My Brother’s Table, Greater Lynn Senior Services GLSS and other advocates. Located on first floor of the GLSS building at 8 Silsbee Street, the Phoenix Food Hub will include a state-of-the-art teaching kitchen, nutrition screening and counseling, food distribution, meal delivery, healthy cooking classes and a variety of other culturally sensitive support services for the community. Capital funds will also go to My Brother’s Table, which will use the grant to renovate its dining services facility to improve service and offer alternative meal choices and nutritional coaching that align with guests’ medical needs. Mass General Brigham connects a full continuum of care across a system of academic medical centers, community and specialty hospitals, a health insurance plan, physician networks, community health centers, home care, and long-term care services.

In 2015, NSMC conducted a CHNA to examine the current health status of NSMC’s service area as well asnew and emerging concerns related to behavioral health. The CHNA engaged the diverse perspectives of residents across the NSMC service area and was guidedby a social determinants of health framework, recognizing that multiple factors affect community healthand well-being.

  • Housed in the center is an expanded North Shore Physicians Group primary and specialty care practice, as well as X-ray, ultrasound and additional imaging services, blood draw/lab services and outpatient behavioral health. The healthcare center also includes an Outpatient Behavioral Health practice, which provides psychiatry and counseling services to local patients. In addition, patients will have easy access to lab/blood testing, and imaging services such as mammography, ultrasound, bone density and X-ray. These services are moving to the new building from Union Hospital.
