Urgent care is also available through the Lynn Community Health Center Virtual urgent care is also available to patients age 3+ in Massachusetts and New Hampshire. Virtual Urgent Care is an option to be seen and treated for minor illnesses and injuries that do not require attention from a hospital emergency department. Patients do not need to have an existing relationship with Mass General Brigham or its physicians to use the urgent care center. Mass General Brigham connects a full continuum of care across a system of academic medical centers, community and specialty hospitals, a health insurance plan, physician networks, community health centers, urgent care, home care, and long-term care services.

The best approach, prior to visiting an urgent care center, is to call the member service number on the back of your insurance card to confirm your plan's coverage for the urgent care center you are visiting. Visits to North Shore Urgent Care will be billed as a “physician’s practice providing urgent care.” Due to this classification, your insurance company may require a referral from your primary care physician and/or consider us “in network” or “out of network."
