Lastly, exercise, especially weight-bearing types helps retain or increase bone density and improves overall strength, decreasing the risk of falling and bone fractures associated with osteoporosis. When not volunteering, Corchado is a staff assistant at Salem State University where she has worked for more than 25 years and continues to reside in the Point with her family. For nearly 15 years, Elias T. Demakes has been the Vice President of Sales for Demakes Enterprises, Inc., a 110-year-old family run, premium meat and deli product manufacturer. The company focuses on producing higher quality, cleaner products with fewer additives, and serves many large retailers and foodservice distributors around the US.
