  • Our Faculty | Salem Hospital | Mass General Brigham
  • After completing my training in internal medicine at Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia, I joined the faculty at Mass General Brigham Salem Hospital, where I provide clinical care and teaching to medical students and residents. I can still visualize and relive where I received some of my most pivotal teaching moments as a student and resident. I had wanted to become a veterinarian, but a strong cat allergy pushed me towards human medical school instead, and after finishing a Med/Peds residency I decided to pursue adult pulmonary/critical care which to me epitomizes medical physiology.

  • Outpatient Experience | Salem Hospital | Mass General Brigham
  • Residents spend four weeks on inpatient/ward rotations and the fifth week in ambulatory clinic. Residents will not have ward responsibilities during their clinic week, which we believe facilitates a focused experience in ambulatory medicine. During the three years of training residents build a patient panel. Residents are expected to enhance their personal performance in known quality measures, e.g. HbA1c trends n diabetic patients. Matching each resident with an attending primary care physician from North Shore Physicians Group creates the opportunity for individualized teaching, mentorship and continuous personal feedback.
