The Cardiac Surgery Service includes minimally invasive surgery, heart and lung transplantations, and mechanical circulatory support. Common and complex cardiac conditions they treat include:

Our cardiologists remain in direct contact with each patient’s surgeon at the Corrigan Minehan Heart Center as they develop a personalized treatment plan. Once surgery is completed and the patient has recovered, follow-up care is provided through our comprehensive Heart Center, where cardiologists and staff provide a broad range of expert cardiac services, and where patients can remain close to home and family.
