Each of these groups will be billed through insurance therefore anyone interested will need to come in before the start of group to complete an intake with one of our clinicians.

CBT for Chronic Pain: A Skills Based Therapy Group
- Group Facilitator: Dr. Laurie Veillette
- Day/Time: Beginning June 11th 2026
- Thursdays via Zoom at 10am, Limit of 10 Participants
Living with chronic pain affects far more than the body -- it shapes mood, energy, sleep, and daily life. This 8 week, evidence based group uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help participants understand the pain-stress cycle and build practical tools to reduce suffering and increase a sense of control.
Intuitive Eating Workshop

- Day/Time: Beginning June 8th 2026
- Mondays via Zoom, Limit of 10 Participants
This 12 week experiential workshop is designed for individuals seeking a more peaceful, empowered relationship with food and their bodies. Participants will learn to:
- Tune into hunger, fullness and satisfaction cues
- Reduce guilt and anxiety around eating
- Challenge unhelpful diet rules and internalized weight stigma
- Build sustainable, compassionate self-care practices
Mindful Parenting Group
- Group Facilitator: Adele McKeon-Millard LICSW
- Day/Time: Beginning June 8th 2026 (day subject to change)
- Mondays 6pm via Zoom, Limit of 10 Participants
A mindfulness based parenting group gain the skills to stay calm, present and connected with ourselves and our children, even when we're stressed. We'll share what has worked and what hasn't. The concept of mindfulness based parenting will be addressed and how to apply it in everyday situations to manage emotional reactivity. This will be an 8 week virtual group running from June 8-July 27
Grief and Loss
- Group Facilitator: Matthew Carron LICSW
- Day/Time: Beginning July 1st 2026
- Wednesdays at 4pm via Zoom, Limit of 10 Participants
Processing grief and loss through group discussion, writing, and drawing exercises. We will use Megan Devine's book "How to Carry What Can’t be Fixed." Participants are encouraged to purchase their own copy, but not required. 6 week program.
Workshops are led by clinicians and are educational in nature. They are not therapy groups. You do not have to be a patient to take part in any of the Family Resource Center offerings.
