The Birthplace

Family-focused care

At the Birthplace our compassionate, experienced staff provide complete family-focused care, a memorable experience, and support for our moms and parents. Our expert and caring board-certified obstetricians, anesthesiologists, experienced nurses, certified nurse midwives and neonatologists all work together to cater to the needs of each mother and baby. Through our close collaboration with Massachusetts General Hospital we also provide expert care for women with high-risk pregnancies.

Visitor Policy

Adult patients may have one support person present throughout their stay in the Birthplace. Healthy visitors are permitted to visit mothers in the Birthplace, following the guidelines below.
